Job Summary
Provide direct patient care to inpatients requiring hemodialysis; supervise care and treatments, conduct patient assessments, create personalized care plans, and address patient concerns. Educate nursing staff on the care of the hemodialysis patient, dialysis equipment, and standards of care. Build rewarding relationships with patients by understanding their physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery; thrive in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team within inpatient rehabilitation settings.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
- CPR certification
- ACLS within 1 year of hire
- 6 months dialysis nursing experience required
