Job Summary
Provide direct patient care activities on the dialysis unit, including nursing rounds, assessments, treatments, and facilitating admission, transfer, and discharge. Coordinate and ensure individualized treatment planning while offering patient and family-centered education. Implement professional nursing practice based on evidence, hospital policies, and regulatory standards to support healing and wellness. Maintain 24/7 coverage as a full-time 1st shift employee working 32 to 40 weekly hours.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky
- Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university
- Basic life support [must be obtained within 30 days of hire]
- ACLS/PALS/NRP
- Successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of Assignment
