Job Summary
Deliver, direct, and supervise patient care to individuals admitted to the nursing unit while utilizing the nursing process. Plan, coordinate, and provide care including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization. Oversee dialysis treatments required by patients suffering from acute or chronic kidney failure as ordered by physicians. Work one shift per week under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse. ACLS certification is required from day 1.
Required Qualifications
- RN License in the state you are applying
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
Desired Qualifications
- Certification through the Nephrology Nursing Certification Commission (NNCC)
