Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality dialysis treatment by completing physical assessments before and after treatments and monitoring patients during procedures. Document all care activities and administer medications according to physician orders while ensuring monthly reviews of patient medication profiles. Collaborate with Patient Care Technicians under Charge Nurse supervision to meet staffing requirements and assist in interdisciplinary care planning. Adhere to all company policies, state regulations, and federal laws while participating in required staff meetings and continuing education.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Dialysis experience
- Experience assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Ability to provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment
- Ability to complete and document physical assessments before and after treatments
- Ability to monitor patients during treatment
- Ability to complete monthly reviews of patient medication profiles
- Ability to administer medications according to physician orders
- Ability to provide all required patient assessment and care planning activities
- Ability to meet center staffing requirements
- Knowledge of state regulations for staffing ratios
- Ability to adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations
- Willingness to participate in all required staff meetings
- Willingness to participate in continuing education offerings
