Dialysis Registered Nurse, Peritoneal RN - We Will Train!

Job Summary
Home Therapy Registered Nurse trains peritoneal dialysis patients (and/or care partners) in the patient’s home, supporting home dialysis modality training and ongoing care. Responsibilities include conducting home visits, evaluating patient performance and home environment, communicating results to physicians and team members, documenting nursing services in the EMR, participating in infection control, maintaining emergency preparedness procedures, coordinating supply orders to avoid penalties, and facilitating continuous quality improvement. The role requires an active RN license, 12 months of clinical nursing experience with at least 3 months in the specific home dialysis modality, CPR certification, and proficiency with English and standard clinical software. Schedule is typically Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with on-call rotation evenings and weekends; benefits for full-time employees are provided. Location: Canton, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in applicable state
- License must be maintained as current and in good standing
- 12 months of clinical experience in providing nursing care and 3 months of experience in the specific modality for which the nurse will provide home dialysis training
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Must successfully complete the Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and maintain annual demonstration of skills and competency applicable for the modality assigned
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Ability to meet minimum hiring standards which may include additional background clearances and orientation requirements if applicable to the program assigned to for employment
