Job Summary
Provide safe, comfortable, and high-quality dialysis treatment by completing and documenting physical assessments before and after treatments while monitoring patients during procedures. Administer medications according to physician orders and ensure quality renal care through monthly reviews of patient medication profiles. Act as a critical member of an interdisciplinary team to perform all required patient assessment and care planning activities, ensuring center staffing requirements are met under the direction of the Administrator. Adhere to all company policies, state, and federal regulations while participating in required staff meetings and continuing education offerings. Assist and supervise Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to support patients living with kidney disease.
Required Qualifications
- Current nursing license in the applicable state
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors
Desired Qualifications
- One or more years of current nursing experience preferred
- Previous dialysis nursing experience preferred
