Job Summary
Traveling Home Therapy Registered Nurse providing patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities across U.S. Renal Care locations; responsibilities include patient education on self-care, ordering and delivery coordination for supplies, collaboration with interdisciplinary team, infection control monitoring, documentation in the EMR, on-call nursing services including nights/weekends, and ensuring patient safety and program outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- 12 months or more current nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must obtain applicable state license within state-specified time frames
- Must successfully complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation and maintain competency for modality assigned
- Ability to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Meeting any applicable state practice requirements
