Job Summary
Traveling Home Therapy RN to provide patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities (Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis). Responsibilities include teaching patients self-care for home dialysis, coordinating training across locations, ensuring timely order placement and supply management, maintaining documentation in the EMR, monitoring patient outcomes, conducting routine/non-routine labs, administering medications as directed, and supporting program goals. May conduct home visits, communicate with physicians and care teams, participate in infection control, on-call coverage (nights/weekends as needed), and maintain flexibility in schedule and locations across the U.S. and Guam. Requires current multi-state RN license, 12+ months of nursing experience, 6+ months in home modality, CPR, color vision, orientation completion, English proficiency, and computer skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- 12 months or more current nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Must successfully complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program
- Demonstrated working knowledge of English (verbal and written)
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Must meet state practice requirements
- Ability to meet minimum hiring standards including background clearances/orientation as applicable
