Job Summary
Traveling Home Dialysis RN role providing patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities across U.S. Renal Care locations. Responsibilities include patient education on self-care, coordinating supplies and equipment, assisting with program targets and quality improvement, documenting nursing services in the EMR, conducting home visits, on-call coverage, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, compliant home therapy care. Requires current RN license (multiple states), 12+ months nursing experience with 6+ months home modality experience, CPR, and ability to travel across assignment locations including U.S. and Guam. Flexible to travel and maintain licenses, with full-time benefits for eligible staff.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states; licenses must be maintained as current and in good standing.
- Must obtain applicable state license based on assignment within state-specified time frames.
- 12 months or more nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience required.
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam.
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment.
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Completion of Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and ongoing competency demonstration.
- English language proficiency (verbal and written).
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire.
- Meet applicable state practice act requirements and any additional background/orientation requirements.
