Dialysis Registered Nurse, Home Hemo & Peritoneal RN - Floater

Job Summary
Home Therapy Registered Nurse travels to various U.S. Renal Care locations to provide patient training and ongoing support for patients choosing a home dialysis modality. Provides nursing relief/support for assigned programs on a temporary or short-term basis. Responsibilities include patient education on self-care dialysis modalities, coordinating supplies and orders, inventory management, equipment tracking, participating in quality-improvement activities, obtaining and communicating lab values, administering medications as ordered, infection control monitoring, emergency preparedness, and on-call nursing coverage. Collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring timely communication with patients and caregivers. Flexible with travel to assignment locations and scheduling to accommodate program needs. Requires current RN licensure across states, CPR, and completion of orientation programs.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- All licenses must be maintained as current and in good standing
- 12 months or more nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification
- Ability to distinguish primary colors (visual requirement)
- Must complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation and maintain competency
- Proficiency with English language (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days
- Meet any state practice requirements applicable to assigned program
