Job Summary
The Home Therapy Registered Nurse travels to various U.S. Renal Care locations to provide patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities, delivering nursing relief on a temporary/short-term basis. Responsibilities include training patients (and care partners) in self-care Peritoneal Dialysis or Hemodialysis, conducting patient education, coordinating supplies and equipment needs, performing routine documentation in the EMR, supporting infection control and quality improvement activities, participating in on-call coverage (nights/weekends as needed), and maintaining compliance with federal/state regulations. The role requires flexibility to travel across assignment locations, strong clinical communication, collaboration with physicians and care teams, and adherence to company policies and safety procedures. Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- 12 months or more current nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- Demonstrated working knowledge of English language in communication (verbal and written)
- Must complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program
- Proficiency with USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Must meet state practice act requirements
- Ability to meet minimum hiring standards including background clearances and orientation requirements
