Job Summary
Travel RN responsibilities include providing home dialysis training and ongoing support across US Renal Care locations, delivering patient education on self-care for Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis, performing routine lab-related tasks, documentation in the Electronic Medical Record, and collaborating with physicians to achieve quality patient outcomes. Must hold an RN license (multi-state), CPR, and have 12+ months nursing experience with home modality exposure; willingness to travel nationwide (including Guam). Flexible schedule with potential on-call duties; strong communication and computer skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- 12 months or more nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience required
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Must successfully complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and maintain annual demonstration of skills and competency for the modality
- Proficient in English communication (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Must meet state-specific practice requirements
