Job Summary
Dialysis Registered Nurse opportunity focused on Home Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis support as a floater/traveler. Provides patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities, travels to various Renal Care locations, and supports patient education, supply management, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams. Key responsibilities include training patients (and care partners) in self-care modalities, coordinating home evaluations for equipment needs, assisting with program growth and quality metrics, documenting nursing services in EMR, and ensuring timely communication of urgent patient needs. Requires RN licensure (multiple states), 12+ months of nursing experience with 6+ months in home modality, CPR certification, and willingness to travel domestically. Strong emphasis on patient safety, infection control, and collaboration with physicians and care teams.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states; must obtain applicable state license based on assignment within specified time frames
- 12 months or more current nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience required
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to meet minimum hiring standards which may include additional background clearances and orientation requirements if applicable to the program assigned
