Job Summary
Traveling Home Therapy Registered Nurse providing patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis across US Renal Care locations; responsible for delivering patient education, coordinating supplies, and contributing to program goals. Responsibilities include instructional training for self-care in Peritoneal Dialysis or Home Hemodialysis, patient assessment and follow-up, documentation in EMR, collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, infection control monitoring, on-call nursing coverage, and flexibility to travel to various assignment locations. Must maintain applicable state RN licenses and complete orientation with demonstrated competency; CPR and computer proficiency required.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- All licenses maintained in good standing
- Willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- 12 months or more nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- CPR certification prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and annual competency demonstrations
- Excellent English verbal and written communication
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Meet state practice requirements
- Background clearances/orientation requirements as applicable
