Job Summary
Home Therapy Registered Nurse travels to various U.S. Renal Care locations to provide patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities. Provides nursing relief/support on a temporary/short-term basis, trains patients (and care partners) in self-care Peritoneal Dialysis or Hemodialysis, administers medications, conducts routine and non-routine lab testing, documents care in the EMR, educates patients, supports program goals, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Flexible with scheduling and travel; may work nights/weekends; ensures compliance with federal/state regulations and infection control standards; participates in staff development and program readiness activities.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- 12 months or more current nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification
- Must obtain applicable state license within state-specified time frames
- Demonstrated ability in English communication (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Ability to meet minimum hiring standards including background clearances/orientation as applicable
