Job Summary
Traveling Home Therapy RN provides patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities across U.S. Renal care locations. Responsibilities include educating patients on self-care and modality procedures, reviewing and documenting medication profiles, coordinating supplies and orders to avoid penalties, assisting with program goals, maintaining electronic medical records, participating in quality improvement activities, and collaborating with physicians and the care team. May perform home visits, conduct on-call nursing services (nights/weekends on rotation), and be flexible with staffing locations to meet program needs. Requires current RN license (across applicable states), CPR certification, and ability to travel; training and orientation will be provided. Safety, infection control, and emergency preparedness are emphasized, with recruitment noting home hemodialysis coordination and equipment considerations.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- CPR certification
- Willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- Ability to meet state practice requirements
- Proficiency with English language and written communication
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
