Job Summary
Travel Home Therapy Registered Nurse providing training and ongoing support for patients choosing home dialysis, delivering patient education, coordinating supplies and inventory, assisting with equipment management, collecting data for quality improvement, and participating in interdisciplinary care. The role includes on-call opportunities, flexibility for travel across U.S. sites, and adherence to federal/state regulations governing home dialysis nursing practice.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- All licenses maintained current and in good standing
- Must obtain applicable state license based on assignment within state timeframes
- 12 months or more nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience
- Flexibility with schedule and travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Completion of Home Therapy Nurse Orientation and annual competency demonstration
- Proficiency in English (spoken and written)
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days
- Meets state practice act requirements as applicable
- Background clearances/orientation as applicable
