Job Summary
Registered Nurse needed for Home Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis patient care across home therapy programs. Travelers provide patient training and ongoing support at various Renal Care locations, including home visits, patient education, and coordination of supplies and equipment. Responsibilities include teaching self-care modalities, tracking and improving patient outcomes, assisting with inventory and orders, documenting nursing services in the EMR, and collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams. Requires multi-state RN licensure, CPR, travel willingness, and completion of Home Therapy Nurse Orientation; emphasis on safety, infection control, and quality of care in a home dialysis setting.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states (US)
- 12 months or more current nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience required
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Must successfully complete the Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and maintain annual competency for the modality assigned
- English language and written/verbal communication proficiency
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
