Job Summary
Dialysis Registered Nurse, Home Hemodialysis & Peritoneal Dialysis - Floater/traveler providing home therapy nursing support across U.S. Renal Care locations. Primary duties include training patients and care partners in self-care modalities, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely delivery of supplies, maintaining documentation in the EMR, participating in infection control and quality improvement activities, and adapting to travel-based assignments while delivering high-quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- Must obtain applicable state license based on assignment within state-specified time frames
- 12 months or more current nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Must successfully complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and maintain annual competency demonstrations
- Proficiency in English; good written and verbal communication
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Meet applicable state practice act requirements and any background clearances/orientation requirements for program
