Job Summary
Traveling Home Dialysis RN providing patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities across US Renal Care locations; offers nursing relief on a temporary basis, conducts patient education, coordinates care with interdisciplinary team, performs routine and non-routine lab testing, administers medications, ensures supply availability, and may perform home visits with potential on-call rotation. Requires multi-state RN license, home-modality experience, CPR, travel flexibility, and proficiency with clinical applications.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- 12 months or more current nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Must successfully complete the Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and maintain annual demonstration of skills and competency applicable for the modality assigned
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state
- Ability to meet minimum hiring standards which may include additional background clearances and orientation requirements if applicable to the program assigned to for employment
