Job Summary
Traveling Home Therapy Registered Nurse responsible for providing patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities, traveling to various Renal Care locations to support home dialysis patients, training patients and care partners in self-care of Peritoneal Dialysis or Hemodialysis, coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, maintaining documentation in the EMR, participating in quality improvement and infection control activities, and being flexible with locations and hours (including nights/weekends) to meet program needs.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- 12 months or more current nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- CPR certification prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Must successfully complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program
- Demonstrated working knowledge of English (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Must meet state practice requirements
- Background clearances/orientation as applicable to program assigned
- Willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
