Job Summary
Traveling Home Therapy Registered Nurse role providing patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities across U.S. Renal Care locations. Responsibilities include patient education on self-care methods (Peritoneal Dialysis and Hemodialysis), coordinating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, ensuring timely delivery of supplies, tracking program outcomes, participating in quality improvement activities, conducting home visits as needed, and providing on-call nursing coverage (nights/weekends) as assigned. Requires current RN license in multiple states, multi-state licensure as applicable, CPR, travel flexibility, and completion of Home Therapy Nurse Orientation; must maintain English proficiency and computer skills for EMR/clinical applications.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states; licenses must be current and in good standing
- Must obtain applicable state license based on assignment within specified time frames
- 12 months or more nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification prior to patient care assignment
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Completion of Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program; annual skills competency
- English language proficiency (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Meet state practice requirements as applicable
- Additional background clearances/orientation as needed
- Multistate licensure consideration as applicable
