Job Summary
Travel Registered Nurse in Home Therapy providing patient training and ongoing support for home dialysis modalities (hemofiltration/PD) across US Renal Care locations. Responsibilities include patient education, equipment/stock management, medication review, lab-value communication, infection control, and coordination with interdisciplinary teams. Travel-focused, temporary/short-term assignment with flexible hours, including on-call coverage as needed; requires multi-state RN licensure, CPR, and ability to operate within EMR and home-care protocols.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states
- All licenses must be maintained as current and in good standing
- Must obtain applicable state license within state-specified time frames
- 12 months or more current nursing experience; 6 months or more home modality experience
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification required prior to patient care assignment
- Must successfully complete Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and maintain annual demonstration of skills
- Demonstrated working knowledge of English; ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Meet any applicable state practice requirements
- Ability to meet minimum hiring standards including background clearances and orientation requirements
