Job Summary
Home Therapy Dialysis Registered Nurse (Floater) travels to various U.S. Renal Care locations to train patients in home dialysis modalities and provide ongoing nursing support; responsibilities include patient education, medication review, supply coordination, infection control, and collaboration with physicians and staff to meet program goals. Requires current multi-state RN license, 12+ months nursing experience, 6+ months home modality experience, CPR certification, ability to travel across the U.S. (and Guam), color-vision ability, and successful completion of the Home Therapy Nursing Orientation with ongoing competency demonstrations.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in multiple states; licenses current and in good standing
- Must obtain applicable state license within state-specified timeframes
- 12 months or more nursing experience
- 6 months or more home modality experience
- Flexibility with schedule and willingness to travel to assignment locations throughout the U.S. and Guam
- CPR certification
- Color vision: ability to distinguish primary colors
- Completion of Home Therapy Nurse Orientation program and ongoing competency demonstrations
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
- Any applicable state practice act requirements and background clearances
