Job Summary
Provide safe, high-quality dialysis treatment by completing physical assessments before and after treatments and monitoring patients during procedures. Assist and supervise Patient Care Technicians while ensuring center staffing ratios are met under the direction of the Administrator. Complete monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and administer medications per physician orders, adhering to all company policies and state regulations. Work directly with patients in clinics across Forsyth, Gray, Griffin, Hawkinsville, Macon, and Milledgeville as part of an interdisciplinary team providing care for individuals living with kidney disease.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN)
- Assisting and supervising Patient Care Technicians (PCTs)
- Completing and documenting physical assessments before and after treatments
- Monitoring patients during treatment
- Completing monthly reviews of patient medication profiles
- Administering medications according to physician orders
- Providing all required patient assessment and care planning activities
- Meeting center staffing requirements
- Adhering to all company policies and procedures
- Adhering to state and federal laws and regulations
- Participating in all required staff meetings
- Participating in continuing education offerings
