Dialysis Registered Nurse - Charge

The Dialysis Registered Nurse - Charge oversees nursing services per shift and acts as a nursing supervisor, providing daily staff supervision and leadership within the dialysis center. Responsibilities include assisting with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health and minimize hospitalizations, managing medications and physician orders, supporting physician rounds and transcription, aiding anemia management protocols, ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and center policies, delivering direct dialysis care when state regulations permit, responding to emergencies, communicating patient assessment results to the physician and care team, collaborating with Medical Director and Interdisciplinary team, and assisting in orientation of new staff and in hiring/evaluation actions for center staff; required qualifications include an active RN license, a year of nursing experience with dialysis exposure, CPR within 90 days, color discrimination screening, leadership capability, proficiency in English, basic computer skills, and compliance with state practice requirements.
