Job Summary
Oversee nursing services each shift and function as a nursing supervisor by providing daily supervision of staff on duty during operational hours. Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health, administer medications as ordered, and assist physicians during patient rounds. Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours while completing monthly reviews of patient medication profiles. Respond to all emergencies in the clinic and maintain collaborative relationships with the Medical Director and physicians. Participate in orientation of new staff as a preceptor and act as a resource person for evaluating dialysis services and updating policies.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of and comply with federal, state, local laws and regulations, including health care professionals practice act requirements.
