Job Summary
RN Charge Nurse oversees nursing services per shift and acts as supervising nurse; coordinates clinical and operational processes to prevent adverse patient events, administers medications as ordered, assists physician during rounds, participates in anemia management and dialysis-service evaluation, communicates patient assessments to physicians and team, collaborates with Medical Director and interdisciplinary team, and assists in orientation of new staff while supporting interviews and staff evaluation; role requires current RN license, leadership experience, and compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in applicable state
- 12 months experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- Demonstrated leadership ability and capability to function in emergent situations
- English language proficiency
- Basic computer skills; proficiency in USRC clinical applications within 90 days of hire
