Job Summary
Dialysis Registered Nurse - Charge oversees dialysis nursing services per shift and supervises staff on duty, acts as nursing supervisor, assists physician during rounds, administers medications as ordered, contributes to anemia management and medication protocols, participates in interdisciplinary care planning, orients and precepts staff, participates in hiring/evaluations, and communicates patient assessments to the physician and team; requires current RN license, dialysis nursing experience, CPR within 90 days, leadership ability, English proficiency, and computer skills; benefits for full- and part-time employees include medical, dental, vision, 401k, PTO, and virtual care; located in Fort Worth, TX.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in applicable state
- 12 months experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state. (See addendum for RN Charge Nurse.)
