Job Summary
Oversee nursing services each shift and function as a nursing supervisor, providing daily supervision of staff during operational hours. Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health, administer medications as ordered, and assist physicians during rounds. Manage anemia management protocols, respond to all emergencies in the clinic, and communicate assessment results to the Medical Director and team members. Act as a preceptor for new staff, evaluate dialysis services, and assist in hiring and disciplinary actions for center staff. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws while performing duties within established policy limitations.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in applicable state. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
- 12 months experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.
