Job Summary

Oversee nursing services each shift and provide daily supervision of staff during operational hours. Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health, administer medications, and implement anemia management protocols. Respond to all emergencies in the clinic, communicate patient assessment results to the physician and team, and participate in interdisciplinary care planning. Assist in orientation of new staff as a preceptor, act as a resource person for dialysis services, and support the administrator in interviewing and evaluating center staff. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local laws while performing duties within established policy and practice limitations.

Required Qualifications

  • Current RN license in applicable state. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
  • 12 months experience in providing nursing care, including 3 months of experience in providing nursing care to patients on maintenance dialysis.
  • CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
  • Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
  • Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.
