Job Summary
Oversee nursing services each shift as a nursing supervisor, providing daily supervision of staff during operational hours. Assist with clinical and operational processes to improve patient health, administer medications as ordered, and respond to all emergencies in the clinic. Collaborate with the Medical Director and physicians, participating in interdisciplinary patient assessment and care planning while assisting in staff orientation and hiring evaluations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including the health care professionals practice act. Complete and document monthly review of patient medication profiles and assist with anemia management protocols.
Required Qualifications
- RN Charge Nurse
- Knowledge of and comply with federal, state, local laws and regulations, including health care professionals practice act requirements
- Perform duties at all times within limitations established by and in accordance with company policy and procedures, applicable state and federal laws and regulations
- May give direct patient care to the extent of performing efficient, safe dialysis, if allowed by state regulations
