Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day program operations for a single-site Home Therapies dialysis program, ensuring safe and effective patient care from admission through discharge. Manage staff scheduling, training, and competency regarding home dialysis equipment, including troubleshooting via telephone and assessing patient environments. Direct profit and loss management to achieve budget targets and key performance indicators while overseeing patient retention and clinical algorithm adoption. Handle regulatory reporting, billing, and data entry for treatment activities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate policies. Supervise non-exempt staff and support continuous quality assurance initiatives. Requires current RN licensure, dialysis experience, and supervisory skills.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (R.N.)
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Successfully complete CPR Certification
- Minimum of one year dialysis experience
- Three months peritoneal experience
- Successfully complete a training course in the theory and practice of dialysis therapies
- Must be able to lift 200 lbs. with assistance
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. up to 5 feet
- Must be able to bend over
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for prolonged periods
- Must pass the Ishihara's Color Blindness test
Desired Qualifications
- One year medical-surgical nursing or ICU experience
- Supervisory experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills including communication, customer service, performance management and continuous quality improvement
