Job Summary
Directs and manages a Home Therapies Nursing program, overseeing patient care from admission through discharge, ensuring high-quality ESRD/home dialysis treatment and compliance with policies. Leads and develops staff, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, and drives program growth and quality initiatives within the Home Therapies department. Provides clinical guidance on home dialysis equipment, patient education, scheduling, and coordination of care, while managing staffing, performance evaluations, and on-call coverage. Requires RN licensure, BSN-preferred experience in nursing and dialysis, substantial leadership experience, and strong communication and program-management capabilities. The role involves travel between assigned facilities, on-site supervision, and ensuring safety and regulatory adherence across the program.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of accredited School of Nursing (RN) with current state licensure
- Minimum of one year nursing experience
- Minimum of six months dialysis nursing experience
- Three or more years of supervisory or project/program management experience preferred
- CPR Certification with maintenance
- Must meet Ishihara color vision test as a condition of employment
- Demonstrated leadership competencies and skills for the position including communication, customer service, CQI, and team building
