Job Summary
Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during dialysis treatments while monitoring patients for changes. Set up and break down dialysis blood systems, insert and remove access needles, and calculate weight loss to reach dry weight. Actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education, guiding new patients through a 120-day plan. Determine care priorities, organize workload, and perform laboratory work under RN supervision. Maintain professional relationships while tracking inventory and documenting concerns for the charge nurse.
