Job Summary
Conduct dialysis treatments by setting up and breaking down blood systems, inserting and removing access needles, and obtaining vital signs and machine readings. Monitor patients during treatment, document changes, and calculate weight loss to reach dry weight while maintaining infection control and risk management standards. Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan, perform laboratory work, and maintain inventory under RN supervision. Work per-diem shifts of approximately 12 hours per week starting at 4am, earning $17-$21 per hour. Join a nonprofit team serving nearly 14,000 patients daily with a comprehensive 3-month education program.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous healthcare experience
- CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills
- Dialysis experience
