Dialysis Patient Care Technician-PCT

Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan and actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities. Obtain and record vital signs and machine readings during treatment, while setting up and breaking down the dialysis blood system. Insert and remove patient access needles, monitor patients for changes, and calculate weight loss to reach dry weight. Determine care priorities, organize workload, and perform laboratory work under RN supervision. Maintain professional relationships, observe patient privacy, and track inventory.
