Dialysis Patient Care Technician-PCT

Conduct dialysis treatments by obtaining vital signs, setting up blood systems, inserting needles, and monitoring patients while documenting changes. Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan and actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities. Calculate weight loss to reach dry weight, determine care priorities, and maintain inventory. Perform laboratory work under RN supervision while maintaining professional relationships and observing patient privacy.
