Job Summary
Conduct dialysis treatments by obtaining vital signs, monitoring patients, and managing blood systems while maintaining infection control and risk management protocols. Insert and remove access needles, calculate weight loss to reach dry weight, and perform laboratory work. Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan and determine care priorities to organize workload. Document changes and inform the charge nurse of concerns under RN supervision. Maintain professional relationships, observe patient privacy, and track inventory. Full-time, three 12-hour shifts starting at 4:30am with Sundays off; pay range $20.00-$25.09 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to effectively lead and coach others
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Previous healthcare experience
- CNA, EMT, medical assistant, CNT and/or phlebotomy skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Desire to collaborate with care teams
- Ability to problem solve
