Dialysis Patient Care Technician-PCT

Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan and actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities. Obtain and record vital signs and machine readings, set up and break down dialysis blood systems, and insert or remove access needles while monitoring patients and documenting changes. Calculate weight loss to reach dry weight, determine care priorities, and maintain inventory and laboratory work under RN supervision. Maintain professional relationships while observing patient privacy and rights.
