Dialysis Patient Care Technician-PCT

Conduct dialysis treatments by setting up blood systems, inserting and removing needles, and monitoring patients while recording vital signs and machine readings. Obtain and document patient data, calculate weight loss to reach dry weight, and determine care priorities to organize workload. Guide new patients through a 120-day education plan and actively participate in infection control, risk management, and patient education activities. Perform laboratory work and maintain inventory under RN supervision. Maintain professional relationships while observing patient privacy and rights.
