Job Summary
Provide and coordinate clinically competent care for an assigned group of dialysis patients as part of the End Stage Kidney Disease healthcare team; duties include ongoing patient data collection and analysis around hemodialysis, adjusting treatment plans as indicated, education for patients and families, delegation to care staff, administration of prescribed medications, emergency response, and acting as a resource/leader for new employees; must meet CAP requirements, maintain nursing licensure, and support quality improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current appropriate state licensure
- CPR BLS Certification
- Minimum of 3 months experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis as an RN
- Entry level for RNs with minimum of 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience
