Job Summary
Provide direct hemodialysis care, perform assessments, administer medications, and educate patients on renal health and self-care. Supervise dialysis technicians by delegating tasks, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards. Monitor patient response to dialysis, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians to coordinate care and report critical lab results. Maintain a three-day work week with a nurse-to-patient ratio. Requires current State RN license, minimum one year nursing experience, and three months dialysis experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current State appropriate or Compact RN License
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in any practice area
- Minimum of three (3) months of Dialysis experience required
- BLS Provider certification
- Successful completion of the Ishihara Color Blindness Test
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong focus and attention to detail
