Job Summary
Provide direct hemodialysis care, perform assessments, administer medications, and educate patients on renal health and self-care. Supervise dialysis technicians, delegate tasks, and ensure compliance with clinical standards and state/federal regulations. Monitor patient response to dialysis, adjust treatment plans, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care and report critical lab results. This role requires a Compassionate and Empathetic Critical Thinker with a State appropriate or Compact RN License and minimum three months of Dialysis experience. Complete the Ishihara Color Blindness Test and be prepared for prolonged standing and lifting up to 25 lbs. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current State appropriate or Compact RN License
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in any practice area
- Minimum of three (3) months of Dialysis experience required
- BLS Provider certification
- Successful completion of the Ishihara Color Blindness Test
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong focus and attention to detail
