Job Summary
Provide direct hemodialysis care, perform assessments, administer medications, and educate patients on renal health and self-care. Supervise dialysis technicians by delegating tasks, monitoring their performance, and ensuring compliance with clinical standards. Monitor patient response to dialysis, adjust treatment plans as needed, and maintain accurate electronic medical records. Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care, report critical lab results, and ensure continuity of treatment. Adhere to state and federal regulations while documenting all interventions and outcomes. Requires a current RN license, three months of dialysis experience, and completion of the Ishihara Color Blindness Test. Three-day work week with a $10,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current State appropriate or Compact RN License
- Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience in any practice area
- Minimum of three (3) months of Dialysis experience required
- BLS Provider certification
- Successful completion of the Ishihara Color Blindness Test
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
- Strong focus and attention to detail
