Job Summary
Dialysis Nurse (PRN) providing professional, patient-centered care for ESRD and acute renal conditions. Administers prescribed medications, monitors vital signs, assesses dialysis access sites, and delivers hemodialysis and/or peritoneal dialysis per physician orders and facility protocols. Maintains documentation, responds to emergencies, and participates in discharge planning. Requires Oklahoma RN license, BLS, ACLS, and dialysis-certified credentials (CNN/CDN preferred). Minimum 2 years clinical nursing experience with 1 year dialysis experience preferred; ability to lift 50 lbs; this PRN role operates as-needed within a hospital setting in Anadarko, OK.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program
- Current RN license issued by the State of Oklahoma Board of Nursing
- Current BLS (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- Current ACLS (or obtained within 30 days of hire)
- CNN (Certified Nephrology Nurse) or CDN (Certified Dialysis Nurse) certification preferred, or obtained within 1 year of eligibility
- Minimum two (2) years of clinical nursing experience required
- Minimum one (1) year of hemodialysis nursing experience preferred; candidates without dialysis experience may be considered if willing to complete facility-approved training
- Reasonable physical ability to perform duties including lifting at least 50 lbs
