Job Summary
Dialysis LVN/LPN position requiring current state license and CPR with duties under a Charge Nurse. Responsibilities include using supplies and staff time efficiently, assisting with billing logs, collecting blood samples, documenting patient care and medication profiles, reporting changes in patient condition, coordinating with Biomedical Technician and Administrator on machine issues, participating in staff meetings and ongoing training, and supporting training of staff. Requires USRC training completion within 8 weeks, good color vision, English communication, and basic computer skills. Full-time clinic role located in Nashville, TN with standard healthcare benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state
- License must be maintained as current and in good standing
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Previous dialysis experience preferred
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be able to organize time and tasks well
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state
