Job Summary
Manage dialysis patient care by obtaining blood samples, documenting treatments and medication profiles, and reporting patient condition changes or machine issues to the Charge Nurse. Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours while assisting with billing log preparation and updates. Perform duties under supervision to meet patient care and operational needs, including participating in staff meetings and assisting with training. Maintain thorough documentation of all activities and communicate verbally and in writing.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to organize time and tasks well.
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dialysis experience preferred.
