Job Summary
Dialysis LVN/LPN role performing patient-care duties in a Charlotte, NC clinic under Charge Nurse supervision. Responsibilities include handling supplies and staff labor, supporting billing log updates, obtaining blood samples for laboratory analysis, documenting patient treatments and progress, reporting changes in patient condition, reporting machine problems, participating in staff meetings, and supporting ongoing training. Must maintain current LVN/LPN license, obtain CPR within 90 days, pass USRC training within 8 weeks, demonstrate proficiency in English, organize time effectively, and maintain computer skills for USRC applications. Prior dialysis experience is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors
- Previous dialysis experience preferred
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Must be able to organize time and tasks well
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state
