Dialysis Licensed Practical Nurse

Job Summary
Manage dialysis patient care by obtaining blood samples for laboratory analysis, documenting all treatments and communications in patient records, and reporting significant changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse. Demonstrate effective use of supplies and staff labor hours while assisting with billing log preparation and updates. Perform duties as assigned to meet patient care and operational needs, including reporting machine problems to the Biomedical Technician and Administrator. Complete monthly reviews of patient medication profiles and participate in required staff meetings and in-service training. Maintain compliance with the practice act and company policies under Charge Nurse supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Current LVN/LPN license in applicable state. License must be maintained as current and in good standing.
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Confirmation of ability to distinguish all primary colors.
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Must be able to organize time and tasks well.
- Must have basic computer skills; proficiency in all USRC clinical applications required within 90 days of hire.
- Must meet any practice requirement(s) for the applicable state.
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency, within 8 weeks of hire.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous dialysis experience preferred.
